It is indeed unusual and sad that a Football team would lose two players by violent means within a decade. Under the "30 December Movement" (date of George's death), Insaka-Glentoran Academy will be organising a tribute game for Toyosi Shittabey and George Nkencho once Lockdown is lifted.
The two lads have left us a legacy to strive for a life without racism and hatred. The aftermath of George's death leaves us with a challenge to repair the fractures in the community through a cultural plan that includes uniting all the sports and cultural bodies in Blanchardstown to transform the suburb from a multicultural community into an Intercultural one where people will live in harmony and peace'.
